David E. Halpern, MD, FACS
Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

David E. Halpern is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and by the American Board of Surgeons, with an additional sub-specialty certification in Hand Surgery. He received his medical degree from New York University He completed his Hand/Microsurgery Fellowship at CoIumbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City and his Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles). He currently is an Associate Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of South FIorida. 

Dr. Halpern’s work has been published in peer-reviewed plastic surgery and hand surgery medical journals. Dr. Halpern is currently the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Tampa General Hospital.
